I take the broken and make it whole

When I first began creating mosaics many years ago, I knew I had found the art form that best relates to my artistic sensibilities.
I have always been a collector of the shiny and not so shiny, discarded and forgotten. I am drawn to and slightly obsessed with imagining a new life for these items.
Mosaic making feeds these creative impulses and allows me to incorporate my discarded collections into a work of art, giving each piece a new life.
